THREE NEW HEALTH COACHING PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR YOU

Thank you for being such loyal followers of Chasing Beans since I kicked off the healthy food and lifestyle blog back in 2020.  As many of you know, during this time, I also became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach after graduating from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  Although I love sharing recipes(especially those that add veggies to our diets), being a health coach and chef instructor is where my heart is.  So today, I am so excited to announce my three new health coaching programs designed and customized to empower women to live lives that sustain and enrich them.

As YOUR health coach I will…

  • Help you establish short and long-term goals for your health and well-being(as well as intermediate milestones towards those goals) after thoroughly reviewing your health history.
  • Work with your physicians and other healthcare providers to develop plans to meet your needs.
  • Support you with regular check-ins and review of your progress over the period of the health coach contract.
  • Educate you about health and lifestyle issues that can be of specific benefit to you.
  • Help you overcome obstacles that present themselves along the path to accomplishing your goals.
  • Hold you accountable for commitments you have made without judgment or pressure to do things that you are not ready to do.
  • Allow you to discover solutions and insights with thoughtful questioning.
  • Be a cheerleader and advocate along the way as you meet your personal health and wellness goals step by step.

Each coaching program is a unique and individually customized set of 12 private sessions with me to address your deepest concerns whether they be diet, weight, energy, sleep, lack of exercise, lack of time in your day as well as any other health and wellness concerns that you may have.  Each program also includes 3 private cooking classes with me designed to address your specific cooking skill needs.

A Physician’s Perspective On The Benefits Of Working With A Health Coach…

In a New York Times article entitled “We Could All Use A Health Coach“, Jane Brody quotes Dr. Russell Phillips, director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care, and my very own primary care physician. “Health coaching should be an integral part of primary care. It helps patients better manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension and improves outcomes. As a primary care doctor, I’m focused on diagnosis, treatment and a lot of other medical issues. It’s great to have health coaches available to help patients make needed changes and sustain them over time.”
